Kids in grades K through 4, draw your best picture of a fire truck and bring it to the Chappaqua Library’s Children’s Desk by the end of today, Friday, May 7 at 5:00 p.m.  Tomorrow, Saturday, May 8, at 2:00 p.m. at the Library’s “Meet the Fire Chief” event, where you can ask questions and try on turnout gear, the Chief will announce the winners of the contest, who will ride with one parent on one of the fire trucks in the parade on May 14.

The library will display all your fire truck drawings during the week between the contest and the parade.

Remember to join us for the “100th Anniversary Parade and Celebration for Chappaqua Fire Department”

The parade forms at Grafflin Elementary School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, and travels along King Street, past the Chappaqua Firehouse, and down King Street into downtown Chappaqua, ending at Bell Middle School, where fire trucks will be on display as well as a blow up jumpy castle kingdom and slide.
