Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the HGHS Pops Concert this Sunday @ 1:30 pm

Nothing says summer like music outdoors, with everyone in shorts, flip-flops and breezy summer dresses. So grab your blankets, your lawn chairs, the kids and the grandkids (and the grandma’s and grandpa’s too) and head over to the main Greeley parking lot – Huh? The parking lot? Yep, the parking lot – this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. for the best free concert you’ll hear all summer. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to plant your blanket on one of the strips of green grass that divide the rows of parking.

Odd venue, but always great music. This year the Performing Arts Department has outdone itself with its musical selections offering many crowd favorites, like Lady Gaga, Coldplay and the Beatles and excerpts from “The Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Lord of the Rings,” to name just a few. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and summer attitude, and enjoy!
