Class creates Carnival Saturday, May 17, at Bell, raffles off new Wii

Looking for some good old fashioned fun? Look no further. The May Carnival is coming to town this weekend!
The Horace Greeley High School Class of 2010 has been busy planning what promises to be a gaggle of fun for the whole community!
The Iron Man Challenge Obstacle Course is sure to please children of all ages. Try your luck darting your way from one end to the other. There’s a Bounce Castle and face painting for the young set. A pie eating contest for those with a stomachs of steel—don’t worry parents, the pies are made of whip cream only, and the object is to get the piece of bubble gum at the bottom and be the first to blow a bubble. “Look ma, no hands!” And don’t forget the Dunk Tank. Who will the lucky teacher or school administrator be?
Several school clubs will have tables set up to show their stuff. Come meet your future business leaders or cheer on the badminton club. Jugglers and magicians will keep the crowds awed and amazed!
Take a chance and buy a raffle ticket for a dollar. You may be the lucky winner of a brand new Nintendo Wii. The drawing is at 2:00 p.m. and you must be present to win.
And don’t forget the snacks and tasty treats. There will be hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, lots of homemade baked goods (thank you parents!) and plenty of fresh fruit. Something for everyone!
All this, and so much more! Our sophomores have been working hard. Come support them at this class fundraiser! The Carnival will take place this Saturday on the front field at Bell Middle School from noon until 4pm. The rain date is Sunday; same time, same place. Hope to see you there!
