The fabulous Friends’ Annual Used Book Sale Monday, June 7

No old Encyclopedias.  No text books.  Lots and lots (and more lots) of books.  Mysteries, fiction, gardening, cookbooks, business, philosophy and myriad paper backs.  Volunteer to help with the Chappaqua Friends of the Library book sale—donations June 7 and 8, sales 9 through 12.  We need people to unload, put on the tables, help at checkout and generally keep things going.

If you’re available anytime morning through evening on those days, please stop down at the library and sign up for a couple of hours.  It’s a lot of fun to see what New Castle has been reading and to help raise money for the library.  Next time you take out DVDs or go to a library event, check and see the little “Friends of the Library” labels that show what that book sale has helped pay for.  Please come join Team Book Sale!  Call the library at 238-4779, ext. 2 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Donation Days:  June 7 and 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sale Days:  June 9 through 13:

• Wednesday 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Preview for Friends Members Only—New, extended closing hour—9:30 p.m. !!!

• Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (All books are half-price!)

• Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (All books are free!)
