Budget Buzz: Collected articles on Town of New Castle 2010 Budget

Last updated December 4, 2009
Articles on 2010 town budget are listed chronologically, starting with most recent.

The two-volume tentative 2010 budget, released at the end of October, differs in only one respect from the more recent proposed budget: the newest version proposes that the start of one-day-a-week refuse pick up be delayed until April.  The board’s reasoning is that the vagaries of winter weather might complicate the logistics of the new collection schedule.  Click here for Part One and here for Part Two of the 2010 Proposed Budget, which is also available in hard copy at town hall and the library.
