Summit Greenfield, owner of the Reader’s Digest property, failed to pay school taxes on its two parcels by the town’s February 2, 2009 deadline. Summit owes $1,980.45 on vacant land on Roaring Brook Road and $537,754.65 on its campus property at 480 Bedford Road. The missed February deadline means that the company will be charged a 10% penalty by the town, about $54,000, if it pays between now and March 31, 2009.
