Town advisors on Reader’s Digest development finish study

Last spring, the town board hired HR&A Advisors to assess the financial implications of developer Summit Greenfield’s proposal for redevelopment of the Reader’s Digest property. In August, the board received HR&A’s memorandum setting out five plausible scenarios “in response to community concerns and limitations of the Reader’s Digest property.” HR&A’s job was to compare the developer’s proposal to a range of alternatives using five specific lenses: traffic, sewer, town character and school impact.
