LWV of New Castle to hold Candidates’ Night for NYS Assembly seat

Candidates for the 89th Assembly District special election will take part in Candidates’ Night on Thursday, February 4th, at 7:30 p.m.

The special election is being held to fill the vacant New York State assembly seat held previously by Adam Bradley who was recently elected mayor White Plains. The event will be held at the Chappaqua Library Theater, 195 S. Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua, and is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Castle. Candidates’ Night is free and open to the public.

The following candidates will participate: Peter Harckham (D) and Robert Castelli (R).

After brief opening statements, the candidates will respond to questions from the audience. Following the question and answer period, the candidates will give closing statements. Candidates’ Night may be taped for rebroadcast on NCCTV – on Verizon Channels 45 and 46; and on Cablevision
Channels 75 and 77. It may also be available as video on demand on the NCCTV website at www.ncctv.org.
