Millwood BOFC - July Meeting -This Monday 7/28 Could Be Some Hot Topics
Further interesting discussion on current fire district matters is anticipated at the regular July Millwood Board of Fire Commissioners meeting which will take place this Monday, July 28th at 7:30 at Firehouse #2 on Route 134. As always, the public is invited to attend. (See related story on last Wednesday’s special meeting concerning the Consultant’s report.)
Pheasant Run Assessment Protest
Pheasant Run residents will be interested to know that in an effort to establish a fair and correct valuation of the condominium property for tax assessment purposes, the Town Assessor has recommended and—at last Tuesday’s regular meeting—the Town Board approved, the hiring of an independent outside appraiser to opine in this matter.
Gedney Park Construction
For those unaware of the reason for the construction and landscaping currently in process at Gedney Park, work has continued on a regular basis in order to complete work on the September 11th Memorial in time for the dedication set for 6:00 p.m. on that date. Ceremonies will include a memorial service and the unveiling of the monument at that time
