Board of ed members sworn in; committee assignments divvied up; meetings will be on Wednesdays

With Alyson Kiesel’s re-election in May, all five of the school district’s board members remain in office for the coming year. But their meeting day has changed from Tuesdays to Wednesdays. Their first Wednesday meeting was last week, when Vicky Tipp was made President of the board, former President Alyson Kiesel became Vice-President, Andrew Selesnick took his place at the board’s dais as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, and all were administered the oath of office by District Clerk Theresa Markley.
Board members take on committee assignments, liaison roles
All board members will be members of the Audit Committee this year; Jeffrey Mester will act as its chair. Most other board committees are made up of two board members.
