Tomorrow, Saturday, July 9, at the Chappaqua Farmers Market I’m performing with fellow Greeley graduate John Shankman on drums, and two of our friends, Joey Beerman on bass and Mark Heavenor on guitar.  Our friend Mark happens to be visiting us from Scotland next weekend and wanted to come along.

Joey Beerman is an upright and electric bass player. He studies at the the Lagond Music School. He also plays in the Lagond honors band which recently traveled to New Orleans as well as opened for and jammed with indie rock band “Dispatch” at terminal 5 in NYC.

John Shankman is a drummer and singer songwriter. He has studied at schools such as the Drum Collective, Berklee School of Music, and the Bienen School of Music (Northwestern University). His self-produced, -written, and -performed EP just came out and is now available HERE. He is headed to NYU in the fall to major in jazz studies.

Mark Heavenor is a guitar player and songwriter. He is from Scotland on a short visit to the United States. He plans to study at a conservatory in the U.S. after finishing a university program in Scotland.

Come hear us play this Saturday, July 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  (The market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)

Zach Resnick is a trumpet and guitar player. He has played at venues like The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, and The Miles Cafe. After a year in Israel working for the Israeli Committee Against Home Demolitions, he will attend Oberlin College.
