I needed some caffeine.  And I can never resist one, or two, or three, of those mini-muffins.

When did you open your store in Millwood?

We have been open in Millwood since 2007.

What’s your most popular premium fresh roasted coffee?

We have several premium coffees to choose from. The most popular are some of our flavored coffees including Toasted Almond, Hawaiian Coconut and Hazelnut.  But the most popular would be our House Blend—a combination of a Colombian and Guatemalan coffee which is both light- and dark-roasted to produce a smooth full-bodied flavor perfect for any time of day.  All of our coffees are available for purchase by the pound.

Do you offer the same products in your Armonk, Ridgefield and Somers locations?

For the most part the product is the same in all stores.  There may be some variation in our baked goods depending on customer preferences in the different stores, and we only carry cakes in the Millwood store.

Is all of your baking done on premises?

All of our morning pastries, muffins, croissants and scones in addition to our cookies are baked in each store—nothing like a warm muffin or croissant in the morning.  Some of our dessert bars we bring in to provide a better variety of products.

My kids love your frozen hot chocolate and I love your protein smoothies, what other frozen beverages do you have?

We have a large selection of frozen coffee drinks including mocha, vanilla latte, cookies-and-cream, chocolate peanut butter and coffee toffee.  We also offer fruit tea smoothies and blended crèmes—both are caffeine-free, so great for kids.

Tell me about some of your lunch items.

We have some great Panini’s made on a flat bread and toasted on the grill- my favorite is the Italiano—grilled chicken, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella and balsamic dressing.  We also have a great selection of fresh-made salads and wraps and our home-made quiche.

Tell me about your catering service.

We offer catering for both breakfast and lunch.  Continental breakfast, fresh fruit bowls, yogurt and granola—and, of course, coffee to go in our insulated boxes.  For lunch we do wraps and sandwich platters, large salads bowls and cookie platters for dessert.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes we have Wi-Fi in every store and it’s free—no password needed.

Any recommendations to make Millwood more business friendly?

Millwood is a great Hamlet to do business in.  It attracts many people from surrounding towns, but sometimes I feel like we are left out of the New Castle community. So thank you for this opportunity to tell more about my business in NewCastleNow.

Any discounts or promotions for NewCastleNOW readers who mention this article?

Yes. Mention the article this month and get a free small latte or cappuccino at the Millwood store. Enjoy!
