Hey! Come join the Greeley Quakers on Monday, August 27th and Tuesday, August 28th for ‘Monday Night Football.”  On both evenings, the Varsity football team will conduct open practice at the Rec Field next to town hall, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Quakers are preparing for their two scrimmages:

• Thursday, August 30 at 5:00 p.m. at Ossining High School

• Saturday, September 1, at 9:00 a.m. at Parkway Field in Pleasantville

Monday Night Football allows New Castle’s Youth, Modified and JV football players to learn what to expect at the Varsity level, and provides an opportunity for the general public to see how the coaching staff operates.

I hope to I see you all there!

Dillon Clark is an Varsity Assistant Football Coach as well as the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball coach. He graduated from Greeley in ‘06 and Suny Oneonta in ‘10.

This is a great idea for the community to get involved!
How about open practice at the Rec Field for some of the other fall girls and boys varsity teams?

How about some more info on why Coach Tribou was fired.

By Mike Rotondo on 08/24/2012 at 12:35 pm

Tribou wasn’t fired, he resigned.  But, that is old news.

Let’s get behind and support the 2012 Greeley Quaker Football team!  These boys have worked hard all summer and are getting ready for the season.  No need to go negative.  Come out and watch practice, have a hot dog and enjoy watching the boys who are so committed to what they do.

This is a great idea!

I’m sure that Steve Young had a lot to do with Tribou “resigning”. Everyone knows how much they didn’t get along. Let’s hope it was all a misunderstanding and no students were negatively involved in any way. I’m pretty sure that Tribou will end up getting offered another Football Coaching position. Steve Young is now working for New Rochelle High School.

Time to move forward. The first game of the season is Friday Night September 7th. Go Quakers!
