This coming Saturday, April 24, 2010 The Horace Greeley High School’s STOP (Students and Teachers for Our Planet) and the BPT (Building Planning Team) in conjunction with Z from the Chappaqua Library Teen Zone are co-presenting a screening of the film “No Impact Man” in the Chappaqua Library Theater from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
If you haven’t seen the film, it’s an interesting documentary about how a “typical” New Yorker changes his lifestyle to achieve a zero carbon footprint (whether or not he is successful is another story). Pizza will be served along with Tea, Coffee, Lemonaid, Water and Iced Tea, so bring your own environmentally friendly cup! Take part in the post-screening discussion in which students and community members will be inspired to make their own “No Impact Challenge.”
