The board of the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund invites members of the community to join them as they honor beloved Greeley teacher and coach Bob Oddo with the first Ed Habermann award. This presentation will take place during the Fund’s annual event, held this year at Crabtree’s Kittle House on Thursday, March 4 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

The Ed Habermann award was created in partnership with the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund by the late Dr. Habermann’s wife, Susan, and is intended to honor a member of the community who embodies Habermann’s spirit and dedication to students. Bob Oddo, to the many students, athletes and colleagues he has touched, is being celebrated as a natural choice.

Always a fun and heartwarming evening, this annual fundraiser helps to “make up the difference” for Greeley graduates who need financial assistance in order to make their dream of attending college a reality. In addition to the celebration of Mr. Oddo, the event will feature paired wines and creative cocktail cuisine, a fabulous silent auction and more special surprises.
