League of Women Voters’ Candidates’ Night is May 15

The League of Women Voters of New Castle will hold a Candidates’ Night on Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chappaqua Library (195 South Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua). It is free and open to the public. Come with your questions for the school board and library board candidates! 

The evening will include two panels. The first will feature candidates for the Chappaqua Library Board, with Barbara Lowenthal and Catherine Campbell Nesbit running for one seat on the board.

The second panel will feature candidates for the Board of Education of the Chappaqua Central School District.  Janet Benton, Gregg Bresner and Robert Gursha are running for two seats on the board.

For nonpartisan information on the candidates, watch for your LWV Voters’ Guide to arrive in the mail. 

Candidates’ Night will be broadcast live on NCCTV, Channel 78 (no call-in questions).  Questions for the candidates may be e-mailed in advance to .  Rebroadcasts will be aired on Channels 75 and 77; check www.ncctv.org for scheduling.
