WENT on record as opposed to excessive bond issue

Letter to the Editor:

The May 22nd edition of the Journal News carried a front page article
regarding the consultants’ recommendations for a new Millwood fire house.
The article went on to say that Kurt Kleinmann, chairman of the West End
Neighborhood Taxpayers (WENT) fire house committee believes the community
will support a large bond issue for a big new firehouse. This statement was
an error on the part of the Journal News. WENT has gone on record as being
opposed to any bond which it believes to be excessive, and will use all of
its resources to defeat same when it is presented for a vote by taxpayers.
