On behalf of the Friends of the Chappaqua Library, I’d like to express sincere condolences to John Crabtree and family on the passing of Amy Crabtree. I doubt there is a group or organization in New Castle and neighboring towns that is untouched by the generosity of the Crabtrees. The Friends are grateful beyond measure for the ready support we have enjoyed over the years. Now, we wish for the Crabtree family to know that we stand with them in their hour of need. After all, we mourn the loss of one of our own.
