The Chappaqua School Foundation (CSF) is hosting a preschool event at Kidville in Mt. Kisco on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for children ages 0-5. This is the CSF’s first preschool event and is intended to help educate younger families in the District about CSF’s mission to enhance the education of Chappaqua’s students by funding meaningful initiatives beyond the scope of the school budget.

David Gefsky, the President of the Chappaqua School Foundation remarked, “We are excited to partner with Kidville to showcase the Chappaqua School Foundation to parents of preschool age children. For 21 years, CSF has been dedicated to enhancing education in all of our schools, K-12, and serves a vital and necessary role in helping our administrators and teachers realize meaningful innovation in our classrooms. This informative and fun event – our first ever for preschoolers – will enable families who will benefit the most (and longest) in our school system to learn more about CSF and, we hope, to identify ways to get involved.”

CSF and Kidville are hosting the event in that down time between the end of camp and the beginning of preschool, which will give parents a much needed reprieve before school starts.  There will be a variety of entertainment for the kids including gym time, art projects, a balloon twister, face painter and a Rockin’ Railroad Concert.  Tickets are $25 per child, and children 6 months and under are free. Each ticket purchase includes one entry for a raffle.  Raffle prizes include two Kidville classes, coupons for a Kidville birthday party and a private play date at the Kidville gym.  Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the door for $10 each.  Space is limited and tickets can be purchased at www.chappaquaschoolfoundation.org.  For additional information please contact Alicia Kalish at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
