The concert that will be held after school today, Friday, June 13, at the train station is a once-a-year event sponsored by New Castle CARES, a community organization made up of students, parents, police and school social workers and dedicated to finding great ways for kids to have a good time. New Castle CARES found the money to install the train station skate park in our town, at the far end of the parking lot.

Our concert this afternoon is in front of the main train station. Bands of all ages, ranging from middle school to college, get together to celebrate the beginning of summer. The concert is free and if you are in town during the event you will most likely hear the music. If you want to check it out, come on over to the train station.
When I was in middle school I participated in the concert and it was a very fun and interesting event. I played with my friends, but I was also able to play with past Greeley students who were trying to or had already made it in the music industry. Come join the fun in this relaxed atmosphere and help celebrate summer!
