The annual Strongman Contest, in which Greeley varsity football players, coaches and members of the New Castle Police compete in tests of strength, speed and stamina, takes place on Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Horace Greeley High School football practice field (up from the senior parking lot), rain or shine. The contest wraps up with The Amazing 800-Pound Tire Flip, in which three-man teams compete. Refreshments and Greeley merchandise will be available, including new reusable tote/grocery/book bags.
