Rec Department ski trips this winter

Three ski trips are scheduled for this winter for grades 6 and up, including adults. Buses depart from town hall on Saturday, January 9, for Jiminy Peak; Sunday, January 31, for Mountain Creek; and Saturday, February 27, for Windham Mountain. Children under 6th grade must be accompanied by an adult and all particpants, no matter what age, must wear a helmet.
The fee for each of the ski trips is $95. Seats are filled on a first served basis and if there’s space, you may register up until 4:30 p.m. the Wednesday before each trip. If you cancel after the Wednesday before a trip or fail to show for your reserved trip, you’ll be charged at $25 cancellation fee. No reservations will be taken by phone. Registration forms can be found at the Recreation Office. For info, call 238-3909.
Rentals are available at Pedigree Ski Shop for $25 per trip, and should be picked up the Thursday before each trip. Be sure to mention “New Castle Recreation” when renting.
