Spring is here, so can the Greeley Spring Choral Concert be far behind?

Next Thursday, May 27, the Horace Greeley High School Chorus will present their annual Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The program will feature an eclectic mix of songs, including “Summer is Icumen In,” a thirteenth century motet performed by the Madrigal Choir, and an a cappella arrangement of Irving Berlin’s wistful classic, “What’ll I Do?” sung by the women of the chorus.

Without giving too much away, let’s just say the men of the chorus have their moment as well. The grand finale of the evening and this year’s concert season will be a rousing medley from “Les Miserables.”

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium and will be followed by the traditional refreshments, punch and cookies. All are invited to attend!

Maureen Callan, as a member of the Performing Arts faculty at Greeley, is the director of the Greeley Chorus and the Madrigal Choir.
