Joan McDonald, completed the Certificate in Horticulture at Brooklyn
Botanical Gardens and became a certified horticulturist. Also, at that
time, she founded Gardens by Design (currently Gardens by Joan), a garden
design, installation and maintenance company.
She will discuss and provide
images to demonstrate suitable plant combinations that will work in sunny
and shady areas of the garden. Free and open to the public. Please contact Pam with any
