The Gazebo at the Recreation field becomes a jukebox this summer, as it fills with tunes to fit everyone’s taste. Spend your summer evenings enjoying music, dancing and socializing at the annual free summer concert series, “Wednesdays in July,” presented by New Castle Parks and Recreation. The concerts will take place at the New Castle Recreation Field, adjacent to New Castle Town Hall, and start at 7 p.m. Prudential Holmes and Kennedy is the official concert sponsor.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner (no glass containers, please), but Fifi and Fido must stay home. Also, please do not ride bicycles on the field during the concerts.
Rain venue: Horace Greeley High School Auditorium.
