The Rotary Club of Chappaqua is proud to announce its sponsorship of New Castle Community Day on September 25, 2010. The event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Chappaqua Railroad Station and Plaza. If it rains the event will take place at the Robert E. Bell Middle School in Chappaqua.
As part of Rotary’s mission of service, Community Day will be a fund-raiser to help support local organizations. Rides, musical entertainment, and refreshments are being planned for this event. Select local student bands from Music in Chappaqua will perform at the Circle from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Community Day traditionally attracts a large number of participants and provides a great opportunity for town residents to meet their neighbors and learn about community organizations and businesses. Area artisans and folk artists will also be at the event to share and sell their work. On Community Day, the town’s new “Chappaqua TABLE Farm Market” will run from a different location, the first row of parking on your right as you enter the train station.
