Temple Beth El: Fight Against Breast Cancer Walk 9:30 am
Mar 14Sunday
The Temple Beth El Tikkun Olam Council invites you to participate in our Fight Against Breast Cancer Walk/Run on March 14, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. The Walk/Run will consist of a 2 mile loop. The route of the Walk/Run begins and end in the Temple Beth El parking lot. The loop will be from the lot south on Rte. 117, turning right onto Greeley Avenue, through town, right onto Rte. 120 (King Street), south on Rte. 117 and back to the Temple parking lot. Walkers should plan on completing one loop (2 miles) while runners should feel free to go for two of them (4 miles).
The Walk/Run will begin at the Temple parking lot. We will be offering juice, coffee and bagels for all hungry participants as they finish their trek.
People who want to participate should register. We are asking registrants to make a donation to Sharsheret.org, an organization dedicated to assisting Jewish women who have confronted this terrible disease and in funding research to prevent and treat breast cancer. A link to a registration form can be found at https://www.sharsheret.org/westchester.php.
The Walk/Run is also open to non-members, so feel free to tell non-members about this great event.
