Editor’s Note: The Town Board has appointed Chris Roberta to the Master Plan Steering Committee to head the “commercial development and hamlets” subcommittee, which was at first led by Supervisor Rob Greenstein.  Roberta met for the first time with the subcommittee on Monday, July 14. [Correction: July 14 was the subcommittee’s second meeting with Roberta.]

A graduate of Westorchard, Bell, and Greeley, Chris Roberta has resided in town for over 25 years. Prior to law school Mr. Roberta was a small business owner, and a former NY State licensed real-estate and insurance agent.

While at Pace University School of Law, where he received the Adam Giardina memorial award, Mr. Roberta focused on land-use and litigation.

As a member of the John Jay Legal Services Criminal Justice Clinic, Mr. Roberta represented indigent clients facing criminal charges in Bronx County. For his outstanding work in this capacity he was presented with the Judge Richard J. Daronco memorial award.

A current member of the Conservation Board, Chris resides on the east side of Town with his wife and two daughters.
