Dates set for Chappaqua Crossing scoping sessions

At Tuesday’s work session the town board added two additional scoping sessions for public comment on the Summit Greenfield proposal for the former Reader’s Digest property.
On Wednesday, Jan. 9 there will be two opportunities for public comment, an afternoon session from 3:30 p.m.to 5:30 p.m. and an evening session from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Jan. 22 the town board will hold an evening session from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. All sessions will be held in the town hall assembly room and will be televised live to residents.
The deadline for written comments on the proposal remains 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008. Comments can be mailed to or left at town hall addressed to the attention of Town Clerk Jill Simon Shapiro.
