Letter to the Editor: Changes to high school schedule is hot topic for Tuesday’s school board

Dear Parents of Greeley students,

This Tuesday night, May 5, the Board of Education meeting will include a “High School Schedule Discussion.” 
 
The criteria for evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the new block schedule have not been specified, however, on Tuesday the administration will present an analysis of the first year. 

It is important, as stakeholders in our children’s education, to learn how the schedule is being assessed and what aspects of the schedule, in the opinion of the administration, have worked well and which have proven difficult. What efforts are in place to address the challenges?

This is an opportunity for you to share your experience. Invite your children to attend with you and share their opinions as well.
