Lazer tag at Gedney on Tuesday, June 5, an outdoor Rock Fest on Friday, June 15, summer trips to Hershey Park, Brownstone Park and Great Adventure—see what the town has planned for your summer, kids!

After-School Lazer Tag

Come enjoy an afternoon of exciting lazer tag in the park!

When:    Tuesday, June 5th from 4:00-6:00pm
Grades:    5th-8th
Fee:      $20.00 per player
Location:  Gedney Park

Register in advance at the New Castle Recreation and Parks Department.


Chappaqua Outdoor Rock Fest

Drop by right after school for live rock-n-roll all afternoon!  It’s a free show for all ages!  All performers are from the New York Rock Academy.  This event is co-sponsored by New Castle Recreation & Parks.

When:      Friday, June 15th starting at 2:45pm
Fee:        Free
Location:  Gazebo @ Recreation Field

Summer Teen Treks
New this summer…3 exciting trips to fun filled parks with plenty of thrills for everyone!  The trips will take participants to Hershey Park, Brownstone Park and Great Adventure –  New England.


Skate Park – Program Update

Westchester Skaters Cup – NEW

A new contest series developed by 2nd Nature and local recreation departments.  This Saturday, June 2nd, the New Castle Skate Park will host this event full of great skateboarding, good times and fun giveaways!  All ages and abilities are welcome!

Summer Skate Park Lessons and Skate Camp

Take advantage of the talented instruction offered by 2nd Nature’s experienced skateboarders.  We are currently accepting registration for the Summer Session Skateboard Lessons and the Summer Skate Park Camp.
