We are pleased to congratulate the following writers for their achievements in this year’s Young Writers Contest, sponsored by the Friends of the Chappaqua Library. All entries are judged “blind” by a panel of writing and editing professionals.

The Friends of the Chappaqua Library is a non-profit that exists to raise funds to support the Chappaqua Library. The Friends purchase materials like books, opera CDs, DVDs from the Critierion collection, British TV series, audio books, and furniture; they also fund programs, all of which contribute to the Chappaqua Library being one of the most popular in the Westchester Library System.
This is the 34th year the Friends have sponsored the Young Writers Contest, to recognize and support young writers of merit in our community.
